
Austin Peay State University School of Nursing invites applications for a non-tenure-track, three-year renewable, full-time clinical track nursing position beginning July 30, 2027.
The position will have clinical teaching as the focus of the workload with undergraduate nursing students.
The School of Nursing is housed in a state-of-the-art technology building that includes smart classrooms and state-of-the-art simulation labs. The program offers a traditional BSN, online RN to BSN, and Graduate Nursing programs.
Faculty are responsible for 12-15 hours of teaching per week, which includes working closely with clinical facilities to ensure student success. Teaching in this appointment includes a variety of modalities, which may include an online or virtual environment, and other assignments to meet the needs of the college as determined by the Director of Nursing.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to life, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required occasionally.
· Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (CCNE)
· Graduate nursing degree
· Significant clinical experience; minimum 3 years of experience
· recent teaching experience preferred
· Candidate must be eligible for an unencumbered RN license in Tennessee
Nursing specialty experience is preferred.
· A background search will be required of the successful candidate.
