The Clinical Assistant provides both clinical and administrative support within an outpatient practice. This position works closely with providers, patients, and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining efficient office operations. Responsibilities include obtaining patient information, assisting with examinations, coordinating care, scheduling appointments, and supporting day-to-day clinical activities

Full-time position Typical hours: Monday-Friday 8-5 dayshift

A Guthrie publication notes that orthopedic care at Guthrie traces back to 1925 when Dr. Donald Guthrie established the orthopedic program, and the organization recently celebrated 100 years of orthopedic surgery.
Performs duties of a clinical and clerical nature. Maintains records and applies knowledge and skills to run a full functioning office for one or more Providers in Clinic. Assists professional staff by performing routine duties in caring for patients.
Education, License, Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Knowledge of medical terminology, ability to communicate and excellent customer service skills a must. Must be dependable, professional, flexible and able to multi‐task.
