Location: The University is located in historic Kingsville, a friendly, safe city of 25,000 that is the home of the legendary King Ranch. This search is for one (Non-Tenure Track) position, a 9-month Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor, with the Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling, in the College of Education and Human Performance, beginning Spring 2027.
Teaching
Faculty members teach graduate counseling courses while coordinating the School Counseling and Guidance program. Responsibilities emphasize teaching, clinical supervision, advising, program coordination, accreditation compliance, and service.
Research
Research is not expected for this non-tenure-track position; professional development to support teaching is encouraged.
Service
Master's degree; Certified School Counselor; earned doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited institution (or qualifying Rehabilitation degree); 18 graduate hours in each teaching field.
