Job Description

  • Provide sterile processing of dental instruments decontamination and set-up of dental treatment rooms.
  • Aid dental students, dental therapy students, faculty and licensed dental staff in services rendered to patients.

Schedule

  • Casual position - Working varied schedule. Can work more shifts depending on candidate’s availability | Onsite

  • Weekdays Daytime shift between 8:00AM and 4:30PM.

Pay

  • Starting pay begins at $18.40 and increases with experience.
    • Full pay range $18.40 to $27.61 per hour

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant preferred, not required. Other experience and qualifications will be considered.

  • If LPN, graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.

  • If Medical Assistant, graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

Other Qualifications

  • Dental coursework preferred.

  • Experience in a dental office or medical facility preferred.

  • Medical and dental terminology knowledge.

  • Infection control practices and OSHA regulations.

  • Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
