Department Summary:
Boston Children’s Division of Outpatient Cardiology is one of the world’s oldest, largest, and most experienced pediatric programs.
Our clinic provides comprehensive evaluation and coordinated care for infants, children, and adults with various heart and heart-related illnesses, diseases, and conditions. We care for patients who have congenital heart disease and the congenital heart defects (CHDs) that it causes, conditions such as septal defects and tetralogy of Fallot We also care for those who have acquired heart disease — conditions such as cardiomyopathy and hypertension
Key responsiblities:
Minimum qualifications:
Education:
A HS Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
1-year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation. Direct patient care experience preferred.
Certification:
Current BLS certification required, or certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.

As one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States, Boston Children's offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth through 21 years of age. (Our services can begin interventions at 15 weeks gestation and in some situations we also treat adults.)
