Job Description

At Hologic, we are driven by a simple purpose: enabling healthier lives everywhere, every day. As a global leader in medical technology, we focus on improving women's health through innovative solutions in diagnostics, medical imaging, surgical products and molecular testing. Our technologies help clinicians detect disease earlier, treat patients more effectively and improve outcomes across the care pathway.

We are seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to support clinicians using Hologic's innovative Gynaecology Surgical Solutions portfolio, including advanced hysteroscopic tissue removal systems, endometrial ablation technologies, fluid management solutions, and other minimally invasive gynaecological products designed to improve outcomes for women undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will work closely with gynaecologists and outpatient clinics to deliver hands-on clinical training and ongoing procedural support, helping customers build confidence and independence with Hologic's technologies.

What to Expect

  • Act as a key clinical and applications expert for Hologic's Gynaecological Surgical Solutions portfolio, including Sonata.
  • Deliver high-quality product training and education to gynaecologists, surgeons, nurses, operating room staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure confident and effective product use.
  • Support installations, product demonstrations, workshops, conferences, and educational events across Switzerland.
  • Provide hands-on clinical support during gynaecological procedures in operating rooms and outpatient settings to ensure correct product application and optimal outcomes.
  • Assist customers in advanced applications troubleshooting and help resolve clinical or workflow challenges.
  • Support product evaluations and clinical trials in hospital environments to facilitate successful adoption of new technologies.
  • Work closely with Sales colleagues to support the full opportunity cycle, including pre-site assessments, clinical demonstrations, and post-installation support.
  • Identify opportunities within the existing customer base to increase utilisation, improve customer satisfaction, and drive growth.
  • Gather insights from customers and the competitive landscape to support continuous improvement and market expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Field Service Engineering, Marketing, Technical Solutions, and Customer Service teams to ensure customers receive a first-class experience.

What We Expect

  • Degree in Sonography, Nursing, Midwifery, Operating Department Practice, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline.
  • Experience within gynaecology, women's health, imaging, operating theatre environments, or minimally invasive surgical procedures is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in operating room settings, ideally with applications, clinical support, or training responsibilities.
  • Confidence delivering engaging training sessions and clinical education to a variety of healthcare professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and clinical information clearly and effectively.
  • Fluency in German and English essential. Additional fluency in French would be favourable.
  • Valid full clean driver's licence and willingness to travel 70-80% within Switzerland.

Why Hologic?

  • Be part of a company dedicated to advancing women's health through innovative medical technology.
  • Develop deep specialist expertise in minimally invasive gynaecological technologies, with exposure to both the clinical and commercial sides of the business.

Salary: CHF 90,000–120,000 gross pa base + bonus. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and alignment with internal pay structures. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
