This role leads major initiatives, mentors junior analysts, and ensures reliable integration between Epic and non-Epic clinical applications.

The Clinical Analyst III performs advanced systems analysis, application configuration, and integration support for clinical systems. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME), contributes to large-scale development and optimization initiatives, coordinates application testing and risk management, and ensures secure, accurate data flow between Epic and third-party clinical applications.

What You Will Do

  • Perform complex systems analysis and support for assigned clinical modules and applications.
  • Lead or coordinate small to mid-sized projects, including documentation, planning, timelines, and communication.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications to support clinical and operational workflows.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Serve as SME for assigned applications and technologies, advising on enhancements and strategic technology use.
  • Coordinate application testing, server risk management, and system integration efforts.
  • Ensure reliable data exchange between Epic and third-party clinical systems.
  • Mentor Clinical Analyst I & II and Clinician Analyst I & II team members.
  • Collaborate with IS and technical teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives.

What You Will Need

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant clinical systems development and support experience.
  • Epic certification or proficiency within four months of hire.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
  • Experience supporting clinical workflows and integrated healthcare systems.
