2026-09-01Under the direction of clinic leadership, the Clinic Team Leader coordinates and oversees the activities of office team members to ensure compassionate and professional care for patients and effective and efficient office workflow. The Clinic Team Leader may be responsible for inventory tracking and replenishment, timekeeping, scheduling, supervising and training, and developing staff working in either the front office, back office, or both. In collaboration with the practice manager and other clinic leadership, works to resolve issues as they arise. Provides support on projects to proactively improve patient flow processes throughout the clinic. Supports activities needed to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance with clinical patient care standards and established policies and procedures. Serve as the primary point person for resolving patient concerns, and employee concerns, welcoming new hires, facilitating clinical huddles, and fostering a positive environment in support of creating a motivated productive team. Responsible for daily communication with the Practice Manager to assure quality service and exceptional patient care. Provides feedback and suggestions for improvement to the leadership. Performs other related duties as assigned. During times of high patient volume and/or to assist with coverage, may be asked to float to other PPG clinics.Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
2 year / Associate Degree in Business/Leadership or similar degree (Preferred)
Work Experience
2 years of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting. (Required)
Experience must include having performed two or more of the following job duties: patient flow, customer service, and oversight of / monitoring patient care delivered, use of electronic medical records (EMR).
Other medical office experience may be considered. (Required)

CLINIC TEAM LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partners with the Practice Manager to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of patient care.
Provides coordination and oversight of his/her assigned clinic.
Display confidence in the tasks and the team to help instill confidence in the team members.
Provide a welcoming environment daily by serving as the champion for patient care.
Support the Practice Manager in all retention efforts.
Assign tasks and provide training when necessary to maximize the patient experience.
Document the progress of each employee (including new hires).
Prevent and resolve conflict when it arises and alerts the Practice Manager when needed.
Must show integrity and lead by example to gain the trusted, respect, and appreciation of the team.
Display verbal and nonverbal communication skills to partner with the Practice Manager, Patients, and Clinical Staff.
Additional Duties
Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.

Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures.
Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs).
Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.
Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
