Clinic Supervisor - Altamont Medical Center
Clinic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at a specific clinic, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards. This role supervises clinic staff, supports providers and acts as a liaison between patients, staff and leadership.

Responsibilities
Acts as a resource to staff while fostering an environment of team work and collaboration. Conducts periodic staff/team meetings., Address and resolve patient concerns in a timely and professional manner, promoting a culture of service excellence and patient-centered care., Assists in the development of clinic goals and objectives in support of Health System goals; communicates the same to staff. Monitors the progress of goals and develops programs to ensure that goals are met. , Assists staff as needed throughout the day to ensure smooth operations and to ensure that patient’s needs are met. , Develops and administers staffing schedules to maximize utilization of material and human resources to achieve superior patient/customer service. Approves timecards and time off requests., Ensures compliance of Practice Management and Health Center policies and procedures. Implements and communicates new policies. Communicates policy changes to staff and providers as appropriate. , Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accreditation. , Ensures on-going continuing education towards personal and professional self-development to remain current in healthcare issues., Monitors productivity, patient throughput and coordinates with providers to optimize clinic templates and reduce patient wait times., Promotes and uses quality improvement principles and methods to achieve continuously improving departmental services and systems. Implements initiatives to improve quality and services at the clinic. , Seeks opportunities to incorporate staff in the operations of the clinic., Selects and hires individuals possessing appropriate qualifications and who demonstrate experience, initiative, innovation, self-direction and enthusiasm for their respective roles. , Stays current with the clinic’s budgetary variances, justifications, reimbursement issues and collaborates with billing and coding teams to ensure accurate charge capture. , Supervises staff and monitors work performance. Completes performance appraisals. Provides recognition for good work performance and documents corrective coaching for substandard work performance. , Supervises the day-to-day operations at a specified clinic, including staffing, scheduling, and employee, patient and provider communications. Leads, trains and evaluates front office, back office and clinical support staff.
