GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: An exempt, management position responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating staff and activities at satellite offices to provide quality, cost-effective care.
SUPERVISON RECEIVED: Clinical Director
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Management and support staff of satellite office
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Occasional stress from varying demands. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:  Work is performed in a busy office environment.   Frequent contact with employees, patients, physicians and outside agencies.  Occasional evening or weekend work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage daily operations and coordinates the work activities and schedules.
- Ensure provisions of safe, high-quality patient care by the staff.
- Evaluate performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure that office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.
- Ensure that all business functions are operative and that all processes are effectively and efficiently in place. Reviews processes and makes recommendations for improvement. Creates goals for satellite operations and ensures that these goals are in line with organization goals.
- Operate within the context of an established budget. Makes recommendations for annual budget and maximizes opportunities to meet and exceed budget guidelines.

QualificationsEducation:  Bachelor’s degree in health or business administration.  RN preferred.

Experience:  One to three years of office management experience including at least two years in a health care organization.
