Job Location: Anchorage - ANCHORAGE, AK 99508SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Clinic Services Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients seeking care through the Cardiac Direct Access Clinic (CDAC). This blended role combines front desk and advanced scheduling responsibilities to ensure timely, appropriate access for patients with urgent but non-emergent cardiac concerns. The Clinic Services Coordinator plays a key role in patient safety, clinic efficiency, and provider sustainability by ensuring patients are scheduled correctly and escalated appropriately when needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greet, register, and check in patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Manage patient flow and communicate delays or changes clearly to patients and staff.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and calming presence for patients with urgent concerns.
- Prioritize same-day and urgent access appointments appropriately.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing (labs, ECGs, imaging) in alignment with clinic visits.
- Adjust schedules in real time to support efficient clinic flow and urgent add-ons.
- Act as a liaison between patients, RNs, APPs, physicians, and ancillary departments.
PAY RANGE: $23-$27/hr to start (dependent upon experience)

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Preferred: Two years’ experience in medical scheduling, patient access, or front desk operations required.

- Other

Qualifications: Cardiology, specialty clinic, or urgent care experience preferred. Comfort working within protocol-driven scheduling models.
