
OF DUTIES
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Welcome patients and visitors professionally, verify appointments and
register patients accurately in the Hospital Information System (HITS).
2. Prepare, retrieve and maintain patient medical records before and after clinic sessions.
3. Coordinate consultant clinic appointments, cancellations and rescheduling.
4. Ensure consultation rooms are prepared before clinic sessions, including forms, stationery and administrative supplies..
5. Coordinate patient flow by communicating effectively with consultants, nurses and allied health staff.
6. Prepare consultation charges, verify billing information and coordinate with the Finance Department where required.
7. Verify insurance, guarantee letters and corporate documentation before
consultation where applicable.
8. Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries and assist patients with
appointments and clinic information.
9. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with hospital
policies and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
10. Compile daily and monthly clinic statistics, reports and administrative
records.
11. Report operational issues, patient concerns or consultant requirements
promptly to the Head of Outpatient Services
12. Assist in coordinating new consultant clinic setup and administrative
preparations required.
13. Participate in departmental meetings, training programmes, quality improvement initiatives and hospital activities
14. Comply with hospital policies, infection prevention measures, occupational safety requirements and accreditation standards.
15. Ensure adhere to Standard People Practice (SPP)
16. Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Outpatient Services or
Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
1. SPM/STPM, Diploma or equivalent
2. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
3. Experience in a private healthcare setting.
4. Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Multilingual
5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
