About the Role

The Clinic Practice Nurse plays a vital role in supporting patients through their fertility journey by delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive on providing patient-centered support and possess strong clinical skills. The Clinic Practice Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to administer treatments, perform ultrasounds, and guide patients throughout their fertility care journey.

We are seeking a Clinic Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility- Arkansas in Bentonville, AR This is a full-time, onsite position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fertility-related limited ultrasounds, patient assessments, and treatment monitoring; accurately document findings and promptly escalate concerns.
  • Administer prescribed medications and injections, educating patients on proper use, timing, side effects, storage, and adherence.
  • Educate patients about treatment protocols, cycle monitoring, procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care.
  • Perform intrauterine insemination (IUI) procedures in accordance with clinical protocols, training, and scope of practice.
  • Provide nursing triage, prioritize patient needs, and coordinate timely provider intervention.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to medical complications and urgent situations, including vasovagal reactions.
  • Serve as a compassionate clinical point of contact, addressing patient questions, reducing barriers to care, and routing specialized concerns appropriately.
  • Coordinate appointments, laboratory work, procedures, and follow-up care throughout the treatment cycle.
  • Collaborate with physicians, financial counselors, embryology, genetics, and other care-team members to support individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical updates and treatment needs to patients, providers, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Follow clinic policies, treatment protocols, safety standards, HIPAA requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Support patient education, clinical workflows, staff development, quality-improvement initiatives, and equipment or system maintenance needs.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, including ultrasound training when needed, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Participate in weekend, holiday, multi-location, and after-hours or on-call coverage as required.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Education & Licensure:
    • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
    • Active RN license in the state of Arkansas required
    • Current BLS certification required.
  • Experience:
    • Candidates must have clinical experience in women’s health, reproductive medicine, or a closely related field, and/or possess ultrasound proficiency (or be willing to complete training upon hire).
    • Experience administering injections and supporting medication protocols.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain composed in urgent situations.
    • Comfort with EMR systems and general clinical documentation.
    • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform duties requiring physical activity.
    • Knowledge of HIPAA and commitment to patient confidentiality.
