Job Description

MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:

To provide competent, safe, and efficient nursing care to patients while supporting clinic operations, ensuring quality service delivery, and maintaining compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirementsDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform diagnostic procedures (30%): Conduct specialized diagnostic tests including ECG, TMST, PFT, 24-hour ABPM, Holter Monitoring, and other related procedures to support accurate diagnosis and patient management.
• Administer vaccinations (10%): Prepare, administer, and monitor vaccines in accordance with established clinical protocols, ensuring patient safety and proper documentation.
• Provide direct patient care (15%): Deliver nursing care such as taking vital signs, medication administration, and other basic clinical interventions to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians during consultations and procedures (15%): Prepare patients and equipment, and assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Manage patient flow and triage (10%): Assess patient needs, prioritize cases based on urgency, and coordinate scheduling to optimize clinic efficiency and minimize waiting time.
• Ensure accurate documentation of clinical and diagnostic results (5%): Record patient data, diagnostic findings, and nursing interventions accurately in medical records and clinic systems.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards (5%): Implement proper sanitation, sterilization, and waste management practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure readiness and maintenance of diagnostic equipment (5%): Monitor functionality, calibration, and proper use of diagnostic machines and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
• Provide administrative and coordination support (5%): Verify HMO member eligibility and screen coverage for diagnostic procedures and services; coordinate with relevant units to ensure proper benefit utilization and smooth patient processing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Registered Nurse

Experience : At least 6 months work experience

Other Skills : Above average written and verbal communication skills. Personable.
