In this role, you willbe responsible forproviding nursing services, including administering medications, conducting health assessments, andmaintainingaccuratemedical records. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications to clients through various methods according to service line requirements.
• Perform thorough nursing assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations.
• Document medication administration and nursing assessments accurately in adherencewithservice line standards.
• Conduct medication administration reviews and collaborate on medication management for housing clients.
• Communicate effectively with clientsregardingtheir medication needs and requests.
• Verify client data and medical history, ensuring all preliminary requirements are obtained.
• Complete required documentationtimely,facilitatingeffective client care and safety plans.
• Serve as a resource for nursing and medical issues, managing infectious disease control and hygiene practices.
•Participatein required meetings and perform related duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nurse program.
Additional Qualifications:
• Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, and fingerprint check.
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements
• ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of forcefrequentlyto lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during workshift
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
