Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Daytime Schedule | Clinic Leadership | Occupational Health | Benefits Eligible

Compensation: Starting from $32.00/hour with additional earning potential based on licensure and experience.

Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT, Paramedic, or LPN to serve as the Clinic Manager at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Long Prairie, Minnesota.

This is a great opportunity for a healthcare professional who enjoys hands-on patient care but is ready for something different from the traditional ambulance, 911, hospital, or bedside environment.

As the Clinic Manager, you'll combine direct patient care with clinic leadership, overseeing day-to-day operations while treating workplace injuries and illnesses, supporting workers' compensation and return-to-work programs, and partnering closely with Medcor leadership and our client.

You'll also enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.

About the Role

As the Clinic Manager, you'll be responsible for both patient care and the day-to-day operations of the onsite clinic.

You'll work collaboratively with Medcor's medical and operational leadership as well as key client stakeholders in Health & Safety, Human Resources, Environmental Health, and Benefits.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships, manage clinic operations, and directly impact the health and safety of the employees you serve.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily clinic operations, workflows, logistics, and scheduling
  • Providing hands-on patient care
  • Assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocols
  • Providing first aid and emergency response when needed
  • Supporting ongoing workers' compensation case management
  • Facilitating Return-to-Work (RTW) programs
  • Monitoring treatment plans and coordinating with outside medical providers
  • Conducting pre-employment and post-offer screenings
  • Performing Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
  • Supporting onsite employee health and wellness initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in Medcor's electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Supporting OSHA recordkeeping
  • Partnering with client leadership and Medcor's clinical and operational teams
  • Providing exceptional service to employees and client stakeholders
  • Handling general administrative responsibilities associated with clinic operations

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN certification/licensure applicable to the position
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to lead and support the daily operations of an onsite clinic
  • Strong patient assessment and clinical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including comfort working with electronic medical records
  • Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees, client stakeholders, and Medcor leadership
  • A patient-focused approach and commitment to providing excellent care

It's a Plus If You Have

  • Previous occupational health or employee health experience
  • Experience in emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, or critical care
  • Previous clinic leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience with workers' compensation, case management, or return-to-work programs
  • Experience working in an employer-based or worksite clinic environment
