Job Description

West Allis on 108th | West Allis, WI

Pay: $60-85,000/yr

The Role

Ready to lead a team that's actually changing lives? Community Medical Services (CMS) is looking for a Clinic Manager to run the day-to-day at our West Allis clinic — supporting people on their recovery journey from opioid and substance use disorders. You'll bring your supervisory chops to build a clinic that runs smoothly, feels safe, and genuinely supports patients and staff alike. This isn't just a management job — it's a chance to build something meaningful with a team that's got your back.

Why You'll Want This One

We take care of our people so they can take care of others. Full-time team members get:

  • Subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Health savings account
  • Short- and long-term disability insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid sick, vacation, and holiday time
  • 401(k) with match
  • Tuition and CME reimbursement up to 100%
  • Employee assistance program for your mental health and wellness
  • Real, ongoing professional development — not just a checkbox

What You'll Bring

You're a people-first leader. You know how to train, coach, and support a team — and you actually enjoy it. You create a workplace where people feel heard and set up to do their best work. You think ahead. You'll team up with the Regional Operations Director to shape business plans for new programs and other strategic moves across our clinics. You love building better systems. Messy process? You're the one who fixes it. You'll create policies and procedures that keep things running efficiently and support continuous quality improvement.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Hire, train, and guide your patient services team and supervisors
  • Set staffing levels based on patient needs, workflow, and clinical demands
  • Spot and de-escalate patient concerns before they become bigger problems
  • Partner with Quality and Compliance to keep the clinic aligned with state and federal requirements
  • Keep patient flow and care coordination running smoothly
  • Set KPIs for customer service and model what excellent patient care looks like
  • Manage outside agency inspections and help navigate audits or corrective plans (CARF, OBHL, RHBA, state, DEA, fire, and alarm)
  • Work with your Clinical Coordinator on grievances, appeals, and complaints from clients or oversight agencies

Requirements

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years in behavioral health or health services preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience or experience leading a team — required

Notice to Wisconsin Employees
