Job Description

Embrace Fertility is a leading Adelaide-based fertility clinic dedicated to providing exceptional, personalised care to individuals and families on their journey to parenthood. Led by Professor Louise Hull, a highly respected fertility specialist with over 20 years of experience, our team is committed to supporting every patient with compassion, expertise, and individualised attention.

We understand that no two fertility journeys are the same. That's why our team of specialist doctors and healthcare professionals take the time to truly understand each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident at every step of the process.

At Embrace Fertility, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, collaborative environment where both our patients and our people can thrive. If you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.

We’re seeking an experienced Clinic Manager & Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Adelaide clinic. In this dual role, you’ll combine overall management and growth of the clinic and clinic oversight of the Nursing team - ensuring operational excellence, outstanding patient care, and strong engagement with doctors

This is a pivotal position where your leadership will directly impact the clinic’s performance, team development, and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Clinic Leadership & Growth

  • Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including staffing, workflow, and resource management.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, drive efficiency, and implement strategies to grow clinic performance.
  • Monitor key metrics and ensure clinical and operational targets are met.

Administration & Team Leadership

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration function, ensuring efficient processes, strong compliance, and effective risk management
  • Lead, support, and develop the administration team to deliver an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint

Doctor & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Fertility Specialists, visiting doctors, and internal teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration across nursing, lab, administration, and other departments to ensure seamless clinic operations.

Patient Experience & Quality

  • Champion exceptional patient experiences at every touchpoint, ensuring care is personalised, efficient, and compassionate.
  • Oversee quality assurance initiatives and compliance with clinical standards.

Nursing Leadership (NUM)

  • Provide expert guidance in complex or escalated situations.
  • Oversee the delivery of safe, compassionate, and personalised patient care
  • Manage compliance, quality and regulatory compliance of Nursing operations

Qualifications

You're a senior nursing leader with a passion for clinic operations, team performance, and driving real outcomes in a clinical setting. You're energised by the broader business side of healthcare — improving workflows, leading multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to clinic growth — and you're ready to step into a role where those responsibilities are front and centre.

You're most likely a Nurse Unit Manager or senior clinical leader with a background in fertility, women's health, or a related specialty, looking to expand your impact beyond the purely clinical into broader clinic leadership.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated interest and capability in clinic operations, performance, and people leadership
  • AHPRA registration and a nursing background in fertility, women's health, or a related specialty
  • Proven experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or senior nursing leader
  • Strong relationship-building skills with medical staff, specialists, and internal stakeholders
  • A track record of leading and developing high-performing clinical teams
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A patient-first mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional care experiences
