What You'll Do
The Clinic Coordinator (Lead) serves as a hands-on, working lead who supports daily clinic operations while helping the team stay aligned on standard workflows. This role regularly assists with front desk coverage and patient care tasks (including rooming) and provides real-time support to keep clinic flow moving.
A portion of the role is dedicated to lead duties such as onboarding support, day-to-day coordination, and reinforcing expectations. The position does not include formal supervisory authority, but it serves as a key resource for staff and a liaison to clinic leadership.
Schedule: Full-time, Days. No holiday/no weekends.
Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care and Frontline Support:
Provide day-to-day guidance to clinical and front office staff during operations
Ensure exam rooms, equipment, and supplies are prepared and available
Step into operational roles as needed to support clinic volume and staffing needs
Reinforce standardized workflows, processes, and expectations
Assist with problem-solving related to scheduling, patient flow, and operational challenges
Serve as a go-to resource for staff questions during the workday
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff members
Promote a positive, patient-centered environment
Assist with addressing patient concerns in real time
Support efforts to improve wait-times and overall clinic experience
Serve as a liaison between frontline staff and clinic leadership
Escalate operational or staff concerns appropriately
Assist with tracking metrics and staffing coordination
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong understanding of clinic workflows and patient flow
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lead by example and influence positive team behavior
Experience with EHR systems
Requirements:
High school diploma required
3-5 years of clinic or healthcare experience is preferred
Active clinical certification/credentials are preferred
