Job Description

MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:

The position is responsible for providing administrative and non-clinical support to ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operations of the clinic. This includes supporting patient flow, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and assisting in compliance and operational requirements, in accordance with MediCard policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Patient Support and Clinic Flow (Non-Clinical)
• Greets, assists, and guides patients courteously throughout their clinic visit.
• Supports smooth clinic operations by assisting in patient preparation, queueing, and managing clinic flow.
• Takes vital signs as required, following clinic guidelines.
• Provides non-clinical assistance to doctors and nurses to support efficient service delivery.
• Ensures a positive patient experience by responding to basic inquiries and facilitating patient movement within the clinic

2. Documentation and Administrative Support
• Encodes patient information, services availed, and approvals accurately into the Clinic Management System (CMS).
• Ensures completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all clinic-related documentation and records.
• Maintains strict compliance with the Data Privacy Act and company confidentiality policies in handling all patient information.
• Prepares and submits required daily operational reports such as patient census and activity logs.
• Monitors stock levels of clinic supplies and submits inventory movement reports.

3. Coordination and Endorsement
• Coordinates with internal departments and service units to facilitate patient processing and documentation.
• Endorses patients to appropriate service areas, ensuring required documents and approvals are complete prior to service availment.
• Reviews and issues diagnostic approvals in accordance with company guidelines before procedures are performed.

4. As-Needed Roles
• May assume operational roles as needed in low-volume FSC, including but not limited to: Drug Testing Authorized Specimen Collector

5. Work Schedule and Flexibility
• Renders overtime and performs additional duties as required by clinic operations.
• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the Clinic Head or Management in support of clinic efficiency and service standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education : Graduate of a health-related course or Nursing
• Experience : Preferably with 6 months to 1 year of clinic or hospital experience; fresh graduates may be considered
• Skills and Competencies: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Customer-service oriented
• Able to multitask and work effectively under pressure
