Working collaboratively with the Medical Director, clinical and technical support teams, and when indicated, the Clinical Coordinator, the Clinic Administrator oversees daily operations and executes operational strategic priorities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in the dialysis clinic. This role directs interdisciplinary teams, optimizes clinical and financial outcomes, and leads performance improvement initiatives, all while ensuring regulatory compliance. Success is defined by fostering an inclusive and caring culture, where staff and patients feel valued and respected, and organizational goals are consistently met.

Compensation: Pay range depending on nursing and dialysis experience

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

Clinical Excellence

  • Ensures clinic is survey ready by operating in accordance with regulatory requirements such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), ESRD Networks, and state regulatory agencies.
  • Optimizes patient outcomes by executing DCI’s key clinical initiatives in assigned clinic, including catheter reduction, increased transplantation, home modality education and growth, and hospitalization reduction.
  • Leads team to meet QAPI and QIP goals by analyzing clinical data, identifying performance gaps, and implementing improvement strategies to optimize patient care and quality outcomes.
  • Ensures the implementation of policies and procedures to promote safe, effective, and ethical patient care.

Leader of People

  • Manages and develops a high-performing mission-aligned team through effective supervision, training, and mentorship, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Executes staffing and performance processes to ensure a stable, competent workforce aligned with clinical goals while maintaining high quality patient care standards.
  • Promotes clear communication and operational alignment in assigned clinic through daily huddles, monthly staff meetings, and consistent one-on-ones with staff members.
  • Fosters team engagement through communicating clinic goals and progress, recognizing staff members’ efforts and achievements, and providing staff members opportunities for professional growth and development.

Financial Management

  • Maximizes revenue capture by minimizing non-hospitalization missed treatments, ensuring staffing capacity to quickly accept new admissions, proactively collaborating with billing teams to meet AR goal of 55 days or less, and optimizing insurance coverage for patients.
  • Optimizes labor costs by adhering to DCI or state-mandated patient to staff ratios, maintaining efficient and safe patient schedules, ensuring proper skill mix, minimizing overtime, and minimizing avoidable turnover.
  • Meets DCI’s medical supply CPT targets through disciplined inventory control, cost effective product utilization, and waste reduction at the point of care delivery.
  • Collaborates with Medical Director and physicians to ensure all medically appropriate patients are on DCI medication protocols.

Qualifications

Successful Candidates Bring:

Education/Training:

  • Associate's degree in nursing or bachelo's degree peferred.
  • Two years in dialysis clinic operations and staff supervision preferred
  • Certification in healthcare management or related field preferred.
