Job Description

Active Tree Services is Australia’s largest provider of arboriculture and vegetation management. We’re expanding our crew in to support work right across Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and nearby regional areas, and are looking for reliable, hands-on team players who want more than just a job - they want a career.

What is the role?

The key reasonability of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective safe trimming or dismantling of trees through safe climbing techniques and safe work practices. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such as:

• Performing safe and competent climbing techniques
• Clearing vegetation around/near powerlines
• Conducting risk assessments
• Establishing and implementing vegetation drop zones
• Operating an Elevated Work Platform
• Safely operating plant and chainsaw equipment
• Clearing vegetation debris from worksites

*Experience is preferred, but not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Training Provided:

• Cert III in Arboriculture - AHC30824 1
• Chainsaw Ticket - AHCMOM213
• EWP High Risk Licence (11m+) - TLILIC0005
• Certificate II in ESI (Electricity Supply Industry)
• Workzone Traffic Management
• First Aid & CPR - HLTAID011
• White Card - HLTAID009
• Close Approach Vegetation Control
• Assistance in obtaining an MR/HR truck licence

Do you have?

• A current drivers’ licence
• Elevated Work Platform License
• Chainsaw Operators Certificates Level 1 & 2
• The ability to work safely
• The flexibility to Live Away from Home for up to 2 weeks at a time

• Cert III in Arboriculture
• White card
• First aid/CPR
• MR/HR Truck Licence
