Job Description

SUEZ Air & Climate is strengthening its international climate services activity and is looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial and adaptable climate professional to support the growth and delivery of our climate change, resilience and sustainable development projects.

The successful candidate will contribute to a fast-growing portfolio of international assignments across Africa, Small Island Developing States, Europe and other regions, working with public authorities, development agencies, international organisations, private sector clients and civil society stakeholders.

This role combines technical expertise, project coordination, client engagement and business development. It is particularly suited to someone who wants to accelerate their career in an international consulting environment, take increasing responsibility, and contribute actively to the development of a growing business line.

We are looking for someone with energy, curiosity and drive — a person who enjoys building, structuring and delivering, and who is comfortable working in a small, ambitious team with strong growth potential.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate already has solid experience in climate adaptation, climate risk, resilience or sustainable development, and is now looking for a role with greater responsibility, exposure, autonomy and impact.

You may come from a consultancy, research institute, development organisation, government agency or international NGO, but you should be motivated by the opportunity to work in a more entrepreneurial environment: close to clients, close to decision-making, and directly involved in the development of new opportunities.

This position will suit someone who is rigorous technically, comfortable with international stakeholders, and keen to contribute beyond project delivery — including proposal development, client engagement, market intelligence and the structuring of new climate services offers. Determination to deliver qualitatively and on time will be your mantra.

Career Development Opportunity

This role offers a clear pathway towards increasing responsibility in project management, business development and client engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with senior climate services professionals and will progressively take ownership of workstreams, client discussions, proposals and project delivery.

As SUEZ Air & Climate continues to expand its climate services activity internationally, this position offers a strong opportunity for a high-energy professional to grow with the business, contribute to its positioning, and play an active role in shaping its future development.
