Meet the Team
The Information Technology department is core to the health and growth of Millennium’s business. The firm’s active, multi-manager model depends on flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems that support the next generation of analytical and trading capabilities. Within this organization, the End User Engineering team is responsible for engineering and supporting the firm’s desktop workspace across physical, virtual, and cloud-based Windows platforms, including Windows OS, desktop disaster recovery, hardware integration, configuration management, application delivery, Citrix remote access, Azure MFA, and Windows thin clients.

What You'll Do
• Support and enhance the firm’s desktop disaster recovery solution built on Acronis, PowerShell, VMware, web services, and SQL
• Engineer and maintain Windows desktop builds, including core operating system integration and application deployment
• Use automation and disciplined QA practices to deliver a consistent, reliable workspace service and support the Windows servicing model
• Analyze performance data to assess resource utilization and support operational decision-making and process improvement
• Plan, test, document, and implement routine and complex maintenance activities across desktop hardware and software environments to meet service levels
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktop virtualization, Citrix VDA integration, and SQL-related components
• Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes, and produce clear knowledge base articles, runbooks, and support documentation
• Provide third-line engineering and administration support for desktop DR, while contributing to the global Windows desktop and Citrix environment, including SCCM, Intune, StoreFront, and Azure MFA

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience supporting and engineering Windows desktop, VDI, and Citrix technologies in large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in scripting and software development, including PowerShell, .NET, C#, and C++
• Deep knowledge of Acronis backup and P2V recovery workflows, as well as VMware ESX and vCenter environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows platforms, including event log analysis, Sysinternals tools, and dump analysis
• Solid experience with Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, VDA, StoreFront, and modern endpoint management tools such as SCCM and Intune
• Strong understanding of Windows infrastructure and configuration management, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows 11 deployment strategies
• A collaborative, detail-oriented approach with strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to learn quickly
