SAP SD + GTS Consultant – Job Description

The Opportunity

We are looking for an SAP SD Consultant with strong S/4HANA experience and expertise in SAP GTS to support global trade compliance and end-to-end order-to-cash processes. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP SD and GTS solutions, ensuring seamless integration across systems while enabling compliant and efficient business operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • SAP SD (S/4HANA) – Order-to-Cash
  • Configure and support SAP SD processes in S/4HANA environments
  • Design and implement SD configurations including sales document types, item categories, schedule line categories
  • Configure copy control, incompletion procedures, text determination, partner determination, pricing procedures, condition technique, and taxes
  • Support shipping and logistics execution processes
  • Integrate SAP SD with MM, FI/CO, and LE modules
  • Manage interfaces and ensure seamless data flow
  • Conduct requirement gathering and prepare functional specifications
  • Support unit testing, SIT, and UAT cycles

SAP GTS – Global Trade Compliance

  • Support compliance management, customer/vendor screening, and risk management
  • Perform sanctioned party list screening and embargo checks
  • Manage export control including license determination and legal control
  • Support customs management processes where applicable
  • Configure and troubleshoot integration between SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS
  • Handle communication structures, mapping, and document transfer
  • Analyze compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Support master data and classification requirements

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Expertise in SAP SD (S/4HANA) and SAP GTS
  • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and trade compliance
  • Experience in configuration, integration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder communication
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams

To Qualify for the Role You Must Have

  • 4–8 years of SAP experience in SD and GTS
  • Hands-on experience in S/4HANA SD configuration
  • Experience in SAP GTS implementation/support
  • Strong experience in Order-to-Cash processes
  • Experience in functional specification and documentation

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • Experience in global trade compliance programs
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation
  • Knowledge of integration technologies (IDoc, interfaces)
  • Consulting/client-facing experience
