As a Client Tax Associate in the Corporate & Investment Bank, you will be responsible for execution of the key business objectives, processes and managing business risks for key client/partner relationships.

Job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end accuracy and on-time delivery of the Tax Reclaim filing process for clients within stipulated deadlines/windows.
  • Serve as escalation point for local team members and resolve issues/blocks promptly.
  • Maintain a strong, stable operating environment with robust controls, checks, and balances.
  • Track, update, and present KPIs/metrics and operational performance to management.
  • Embed a client-centric culture and service mindset across the team.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and tax-compliance obligations.
  • Drive clear, regular, consistent communications across the team and with internal stakeholders.
  • Apply strong process and industry expertise (end-to-end flows, SOPs, validations; international tax reclaims domain).
  • Influence technology enhancements and communicate change-management impacts effectively to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement quality/efficiency tools to improve accuracy, reduce risk, and increase efficiency in a controlled manner.
  • Lead day-to-day operations and decision-making for scenario handling, act as primary POC for aligned country/LOB, and support training/documentation (maintain procedures, train staff on new/revised processes, and strengthen a control-centric environment).

Requiredqualifications,capabilities,andskills

  • Graduate or Post-Graduate with 5+ years’ experience in operations.

  • 3+ years as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree.
  • Familiarity with a Taxation and Tax Operations for various Markets&

    Ability to drive results through a "hands-on" approach.

  • Enthusiastic and articulate with excellent communication and written skills with clear, concise & logical documentation ability.

  • Must be able to maintain and operate in an environment of high standards of risk and control.

  • Detail oriented and ability to work in a dynamic environment with conflicting priorities.

  • Strong analytical skills to review evolving market practices, assess oversight metrics, results identify trends.

  • Demonstrate high emotional intelligence, with sound networking and influencing skills.

  • Team player with ability to work with colleagues in a collaborative manner, as well as being able to proactively progress multiple tasks independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. ,

    Skilled in MS office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Preferredqualifications,capabilities,andskills

  • Relevant Tax market knowledge or industry experience

  • Knowledge of financial markets and banking preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau and UI path (preferred)
