Position Overview:

The Client Success Specialist serves as a trusted advisor to UniGroup's agent network, helping agents understand, adopt, and maximize transportation and brokerage solutions that support operational success and business growth.

This role combines relationship management, onboarding, training, problem solving, and project coordination to ensure agents are successful in utilizing UniGroup's brokerage capabilities. Working closely with Brokerage, Pricing, Operations, Technology, and Member Success teams, the Client Success Specialist helps agents identify opportunities to improve operations, expand service offerings, increase brokerage utilization, and grow their business.

This position plays an important role in expanding brokerage utilization and identifying new revenue opportunities within the UniGroup agent network.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agents utilizing brokerage and transportation solutions, providing guidance, support, and strategic partnership.
  • Build strong relationships with agents to understand their business goals, operational challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Educate agents on brokerage capabilities, transportation solutions, pricing programs, self-service tools, and value-added services.
  • Support the onboarding and implementation of new agents, affiliates, programs, and technology solutions through planning, communication, training, and post-launch support.
  • Partner with agents to identify opportunities to improve operations, expand service offerings, and increase utilization of brokerage solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between agents and internal teams, including Brokerage, Pricing, Operations, Technology, and Member Success, to ensure successful execution and issue resolution.
  • Deliver training and ongoing support for transportation management systems (TMS), brokerage tools, reporting platforms, and related resources.
  • Monitor engagement, utilization, and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Support initiatives that contribute to agent retention, brokerage growth, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.
  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives that support the continued growth and success of UniGroup's brokerage business.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in customer success, account management, operations, project coordination, transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a related business environment.
  • Basic understanding of transportation, logistics, brokerage, supply chain, or operational business processes.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to train, influence, and support customers, business partners, or stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, third-party logistics (3PL), or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with transportation concepts such as truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), carrier management, freight brokerage, or related logistics services.
  • Experience onboarding customers, partners, or clients to new programs, services, systems, or technologies.
  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), CRM platforms, or logistics technology solutions.
  • Experience supporting account management, customer success, business development, or sales-related activities.
  • Experience utilizing reporting and analytics to support business decisions and performance improvement.
