About the Role:
The Client Solutions Vertical Director will be responsible for overseeing the full portfolio of client partnerships and driving revenue growth across the Canadian market. This role will lead a team of Vertical Managers, guiding them to build and scale high-performing Client Solutions teams that deliver best-in-class service, consultative expertise, and measurable business outcomes for clients.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will define market strategy, partner closely with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure alignment against revenue goals and strategic priorities. You will play a critical role in elevating client impact, developing leadership talent, and shaping how TikTok delivers value to advertisers in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the vertical strategy in partnership with Sales Vertical Directors and cross-functional leaders, setting long-term vision, revenue targets, and ensuring delivery against revenue goals, MBOs, and OKRs.
- Own end-to-end business performance for the vertical, proactively identifying growth opportunities, risks, and investments needed to scale revenue and client impact.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Client Solutions (CS) organization, managing through managers, elevating leadership capability, and building a strong, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.
- Establish the team as trusted strategic advisors by enabling best-in-class consultative selling, data-driven storytelling, and executional excellence across the client lifecycle.
- Own strategic OKRs for the market, driving large-scale, cross-functional programs and ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable business outcomes across Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing Science.
- Act as a strategic partner to Vertical and Sales leadership, shaping priorities, influencing go-to-market strategy, and driving operational rigor through data-backed insights and intelligence.
- Serve as a vertical thought leader and executive client advocate, translating industry trends into scalable strategies and compelling narratives while representing client needs internally.
- Influence product strategy by surfacing market insights, advertiser feedback, and unmet needs; partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to inform roadmap prioritization and innovation.
- Orchestrate executive-level cross-functional alignment, removing systemic blockers and driving high-impact initiatives that unlock vertical-specific opportunities and improve end-to-end client experience.
- Champion a data-driven culture by leveraging insights to inform decision-making, optimize performance, and continuously evolve playbooks that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Ensure deep organizational expertise in TikTok’s advertising ecosystem, including ad products, measurement, attribution, and KPIs, and guide teams in tying platform value directly to client ROI.
