Job Description

About the Role

The Client Solutions Analyst (Data & AI) supports end-to-end client engagement with Spectra, our enterprise data service platform, combining strong client relationship capability with hands-on technical skills across data, AI enablement, and front-end experience.
The role partners with clients to understand where they are in their data journey, then designs practical onboarding, adoption, and migration pathways that accelerate value realisation while enabling seamless transition to the new data platform through repeatable migration patterns and AI-assisted approaches.
Acting as a bridge between data technology and internal teams, the analyst translates client goals into data, AI, and user experience requirements, ensuring service delivery, onboarding, and platform development align with client expectations, regulatory standards, and industry best practice while progressively reducing reliance on legacy environments.
*****Permanent role to be based in Melbourne or Parramatta *****

In this role you will be accountable for Client Onboarding & Engagement

  • Support and coordinate end-to-end onboarding of new clients to the Spectra platform, tailoring the approach to the client’s current data maturity and operating model.
  • Develop scalable onboarding resources (guides, walkthroughs, FAQs) and AI-assisted enablement content to improve self-service and reduce time-to-value.
  • Facilitate training and familiarisation sessions covering the data platform, AI-enabled capabilities, and client-facing consumption patterns to ensure clients derive maximum value from data services.
  • Monitor adoption and onboarding metrics, migration progress, and decommission readiness; proactively resolve onboarding challenges and remove blockers to transition.

Client Experience & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for client queries on data services.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify and address friction points in the client journey and support resolution design.
  • Capture, analyse, and share client feedback to inform continuous improvement.
  • Support the design and delivery of engagement programs that strengthen client relationships and showcase new Spectra capabilities.

Data-Driven Client Insights

  • Use Spectra analytics to generate actionable insights into client usage, adoption, and engagement.
  • Report to leadership on client experience KPIs including onboarding success, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Identify and escalate opportunities for expansion of data services based on usage patterns.

Platform & Service Development

  • Partner with data engineering, architecture, governance, and support teams to align client experience with SLAs and service standards, and to design practical pathways for legacy decommission and transition to the new data platform.
  • Develop resources for knowledge bases, self-service portals, onboarding solutions, and repeatable transitional migration patterns (playbooks, runbooks, cutover checklists), including AI-assisted documentation where appropriate.
  • Support compliance with regulatory and risk management frameworks (e.g., CPG235, CPS230) as they apply to data delivery, AI-enabled solutions, client engagement, and platform migrations.

Governance & Risk

  • Maintain compliance with governance standards, policies, and regulatory obligations, including appropriate controls during onboarding, migration, and legacy decommission activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, definitions, reporting pipelines, and migration patterns; contribute to clear client-facing enablement materials and guidance for any AI-assisted features.
  • Adhere to governance best practices, ensuring data quality, lineage, and secure-by-design principles are maintained throughout transition states.

About you

  • 2+ years’ experience in client service, onboarding, or customer success, ideally within data, SaaS, apps or financial services environments.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, ThoughtSpot) and data platforms (Snowflake, DBT Cloud, Fivetran) desirable, along with exposure to AI-enabled analytics and/or building client-facing data experiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data/Information Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience in working with technology and consumers of technical services).
  • Familiarity with APRA-aligned regulatory frameworks (CPG235, CPS230) advantageous.
  • Strong client service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of data platforms, data governance, and data quality principles.
  • Understanding of migration and transition patterns (e.g., parallel run, phased cutover), and how to support retirement of legacy data/reporting environments.
  • Analytical skills to interpret client usage data and identify trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
