Job Description

Our Client Skills Training & Practice Management Team creates engaging training programs and impactful experiences to empower our AWM Analysts, Global Private Bank Advisors, and Sales Managers. We harness the collective power of our firm to build the elite advisors and specialists of tomorrow.

As a Training Strategy and Operations Management Associate on the Global Private Bank Client Skills Training & Practice Management team, you will manage projects across multiple training workstreams and keep them moving to completion. Reporting to the team’s COO, you will support one or more senior leaders by building and tracking project plans, running check-ins, following up on commitments, and flagging risks early. You will also support the day-to-day operations of the team and provide light program coordination where needed. This role offers broad exposure to senior leadership, a deep understanding of how our training business runs, and a strong foundation for a long-term career in project management, wealth management, or training and development.

Job responsibilities

Project management and accountability

  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple training workstreams, keeping every owner clear on what is due and when
  • Hold partners accountable for commitments by setting clear owners and deadlines, following up consistently, and escalating items that stall
  • Run regular project check-ins and working sessions; capture decisions, open questions, action items, and next steps, and send recaps the same day
  • Drive projects to completion by removing obstacles, chasing down inputs, and keeping partners across teams moving in the same direction

Training operations and leader support

  • Support one or more senior Client Skills Training leaders with meeting preparation, agendas, materials, and follow-through on key priorities
  • Help sort and prioritize incoming requests, gather inputs quickly, and make sure responses are timely so leaders can focus on the highest-value work
  • Prepare short, clear updates and summaries for leadership reviews, offsites, and team meetings

Program coordination

  • Partner with team members to support the execution of large-scale events, from pre-event preparation to on-the-ground support, anticipating and responding to needs before, during, and after training programs.
  • Assist the team on strategic projects such as designing new training formats, driving attendance, and improving operational processes.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of training programs, including scheduling sessions, maintaining rosters, booking venues, arranging transportation, ordering catering, and tracking expenses.
  • Help monitor program budgets and expenses, process invoices, and ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Periodic domestic and international travel may be required

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in project or program management, operations, business management, or a related role
  • B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent experience
  • Strong project management fundamentals, including comfort with project plans, status reporting, and running work across multiple stakeholders at once
  • Confidence to hold others accountable and drive work forward, including with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under demanding deadlines, with strong ownership, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn updates into clear actions, decisions needed, and next steps
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with many partners across team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with project management or scheduling tools; familiarity with agile or iterative ways of working
  • Comfort working with AI tools to speed up planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Experience in learning and development, training programs, practice management, or coaching for client-facing teams
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort producing polished, leadership-ready materials
  • Demonstrated ability to improve and simplify processes and ways of working
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate across regions, functions, and seniority levels
  • Experience with event coordination or program logistics
