Client Services Senior Accountant - Sofia Office

Our client is on the lookout for a Client Services Senior Accountant to join their Sofia-based team. This role is ideal for someone who is keen to expand their knowledge and adapt to the dynamic world of finance and accounting within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, budgets, and cash flow projections to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Service Provider Oversight: Collaborate with external service providers, ensuring their work aligns with client expectations and standards.

Client Structure Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of client structures, including shareholders, transactions, tax frameworks, and activities.

Client Engagement: Coordinate and manage client meetings and deliverables, ensuring a seamless and productive relationship.

Audit and Compliance Coordination: Facilitate audits and work with tax advisors and legal teams to maintain local compliance.

Reporting Framework Knowledge: Enhance your expertise in various reporting frameworks such as IFRS, US GAAP, INREV, and LUX GAAP.

Team Leadership: Guide and mentor team members, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Act as a supportive figure and set clear objectives.

Your Profile:

Educational Background: University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

Professional Experience: At least 4 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for those with Big 4 or international financial service provider backgrounds. Experience with Real Estate/Private Equity structures is beneficial.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in IFRS and experienced in preparing consolidated financial statements. Skilled in Microsoft Office and various accounting software.

Communication: Strong command of English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.

Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.

Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
