Client Services Project Manager – Packaging

Monday–Friday | 8:30am–5:00pm

We are looking for a Client Services Project Manager to join our highly technical Packaging team, taking ownership of high-profile clinical trial projects and acting as a key link between customers and internal teams.

The opportunity

You will manage projects from the initial client conversation right through to completion, translating customer requirements into clear plans and coordinating the people, documentation, materials, timelines and budgets required for successful delivery.

Working within the Packaging team, you will be involved in the full project journey – from determining packaging and labelling requirements and ensuring components are ordered on time through to production readiness, batch documentation and final client handover.

With projects spanning international markets, this is a varied role where no two projects are quite the same.

What you will be doing:

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of client projects, including:

• Managing the technical and service aspects of projects from initiation through to completion.
• Understanding client requirements and translating them into practical project plans and quotations.
• Coordinating packaging, labelling, documentation, materials and production requirements.
• Building strong relationships with customers and maintaining regular communication throughout their projects.
• Working closely with internal departments to keep activities aligned and deadlines on track.
• Representing the business during project meetings, kick-off meetings, customer calls, visits and audits.
• Monitoring project budgets and providing accurate financial forecasts and reporting.
• Working with Quality Assurance to resolve issues and drive Problem Reports through to closure.
• Partnering with Account Management to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
• Ensuring activities are completed in accordance with SOPs, quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

What we are looking for:

You will be someone who can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining close attention to detail. Strong communication is essential – you will be dealing with customers as well as technical and operational stakeholders across the organisation.

Ideally, you will bring:

• A degree, preferably within a health, life sciences or related discipline.
• Experience within clinical trials and an understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle.
• Previous project management, project coordination or client services experience.
• Strong customer relationship management skills and confidence working directly with clients.
• Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills.
• The ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and keep projects progressing against deadlines.
• Confidence presenting information and responding to customer questions.
• Experience working within a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Good IT skills and confidence learning and working with internal project systems.

Experience with project planning tools, alongside an understanding of fundamental project management principles, would be advantageous.
