Client Services Officer - Albury

Location – Albury

Employment type – Ongoing full-time and Temporary

Salary & Grade – Clerk Grade 1/2 ($75,728 - $82,329)

Your role

As a Client Service Officer with Court Services, you will provide a range of clerical and administrative services including but not limited to, responding to customer enquiries, data entry and records management. You will rotate through a variety of roles in this position, including roles requiring travel of up to 9 nights per month.

You will assist with the effective operation of Court rooms, perform administrative services to meet statutory obligations and deliver high quality professional services to clients.

Your knowledge and confidence with core office software applications or other technology will see you succeed in this role.

Please note that this role involves exposure to graphic content, including images, photographs and discussions relating to violence, sexual assault and/or homicide matters.

What you’ll do

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Support the efficient operation of the court including liaising effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Anticipate the requirements of judiciary and other key stakeholders and provide a timely and effective response.
  • Provide a high level of clerical and administrative support to the court and registry
  • Use computer systems in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Provide high quality support to customers on the counter, telephone and via email.
  • Support the effective implementation of improved work practices.
  • Provide procedural information in the Local, District, Crime, Civil and Care jurisdictions.
  • Working collaboratively within a greater team to meet time standards and
  • Adapt to working in a variety of different roles and jurisdictions.
  • Work across a variety of court locations, building rapport with many different staff members

What we’re looking for

  • You must hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
  • You must be willing to travel to other locations within the region. This will include overnight stays ranging from 1–9 nights per month.
  • A departmental motor vehicle will be provided when available and the appropriate allowances paid for travel.
