Client Services CoordinatorThis is not a clipboard-and-checklist job.
This is frontline leadership inside a 24-hour emergency shelter.

  At The Archway, we are Tarrant County’s only state-designated family violence program. That means when someone makes the hardest phone call of their life, we answer. When someone walks through our shelter doors at 2:00 a.m., we are ready. We stand beside survivors while working to hold offenders accountable.This work is urgent. It is complex. It is emotional. And it matters.  

We are looking for a Client Services Coordinator who can lead in that environment — not observe it from the sidelines.  The OpportunityYou will lead the 24-hour Client Advocate Center — the operational heartbeat of our emergency shelter.You are not just managing staff.
You are setting the tone for safety, professionalism, and compassion.
You will:
  • Hire, train, and develop Client Advocate staff  
  • Build and manage 24-hour schedules that ensure consistent coverage 
  • Partner seamlessly with the Hotline Coordinator so that intake from crisis call to shelter bed is smooth and trauma-informed 
  • Crosstrain advocates strengthening both hotline and shelter operations 
If systems break, you fix them.
If staff struggle, you coach them.
If processes stall, you streamline them.
  What You Will CarryThis role carries weight.You will be responsible for:
  • Departmental reporting and documentation that meets grant and compliance standards 
  • Monitoring CaseWorthy entries to ensure accuracy and service quality 
  • Strengthening community partnerships with law enforcement, transportation providers, and referral agencies 
  • Managing personnel issues directly, professionally, and fairly 
  • Training, directing, correcting, and elevating your team 
  • Upholding organizational policies and grant requirements without exception

Working in domestic violence services is hard.

  Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field required (or 5+ years equivalent experience) 
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience 
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in a 24-hour hotline or residential setting 
  • Strong knowledge of family violence dynamics 
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis 
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-accountability environments preferred 
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and proof of insurance required 
You must be able to:
  • Interpret and implement policy with clarity 
  • Draft reports and professional correspondence 
  • Communicate confidently with clients, staff, and community partners 
  • Apply sound judgment in structured but high-pressure situations
