Client Services Associate Project Manager – Packaging

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Associate Project Manager (APM) to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in project support, coordination or a related environment who is ready to take on greater ownership. You will work alongside experienced Project Managers while also taking responsibility for your own projects, coordinating activities across multiple teams from study set-up through to completion.

Working in a fast-paced clinical supply environment, you will be at the centre of bringing together customers, internal teams, production schedules, documentation and key milestones to ensure studies are delivered successfully.

What will you do?

As an Associate Project Manager, you will help keep clinical studies moving by ensuring the right people, products and services come together at the right time.

You will build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, proactively communicating progress, identifying priorities and helping resolve issues before they impact delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects from set-up through to completion, coordinating technical, operational and service activities across the business.
• Partnering with customers and internal teams to understand study requirements and provide clear, timely updates.
• Planning and tracking key milestones, timelines, critical-path activities and responsibilities using appropriate project management tools and processes.
• Coordinating study readiness, ensuring the required services, products, documentation and information are in place when needed.
• Supporting clinical supply planning, working closely with the Master Production Scheduler to balance customer requirements with available production capacity.
• Preparing and coordinating project documentation, including batch, distribution and operational documentation using internal systems.
• Monitoring day-to-day project activity, identifying risks, changes or potential delays and supporting effective solutions.
• Supporting project financial management, including accurate forecasting, reporting and revenue recognition.
• Maintaining accurate study records and filing systems in line with company procedures and quality requirements.
• Working in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Thermo Fisher Scientific quality standards.

What are we looking for?

You will enjoy working in an environment where priorities can change quickly and where strong organisation, communication and attention to detail really matter.

You will bring:

• A degree or recognised professional qualification, ideally within a health, life science or related discipline.
• Experience in project coordination, project support or project management; around 1–2 years' relevant experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to demanding deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence building relationships with customers and colleagues at different levels.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to anticipate customer and project needs.
• Strong numerical skills and confidence working with project data, reporting and documentation.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• The ability and willingness to learn internal project and quality systems such as Salesforce, GPMS and TrackWise.

Experience within clinical trials, clinical supplies, pharmaceutical manufacturing or another regulated environment would be beneficial, but we’re equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong transferable project coordination and customer management skills.

Knowledge of project management principles, experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, or a recognised project management qualification would also be advantageous.
