Client Liaison
• Serve as clients' primary point of contact, providing proactive updates on shipment status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and personalised service.
Shipment Coordination & Documentation:
• Oversee the complete shipment lifecycle from booking to final delivery.
• Prepare, verify, and manage shipping documentation (e.g., air waybills, bills of lading, customs forms), ensuring accuracy and compliance with import/export regulations.
Operational Support:
• Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams (e.g., sales, operations) to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments.
• Coordinate problem resolution to handle delays, discrepancies, or unforeseen issues during transit.
Administrative & Reporting Duties:
• Maintain accurate client and shipment records using the company’s transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.
• Generate regular reports on freight activities, client feedback, and service performance metrics to inform process improvements.
Compliance & Best Practices:
• Stay informed about local, national, and international shipping regulations and industry best practices.
• Ensure all processes adhere to safety, legal, and quality standards.
