Job Description

VCA Northside Animal Hospital is hiring a Client Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant who brings both strong customer service skills and prior veterinary assistant experience. This is a client-focused role with the opportunity to support the medical team as needed.

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage the front desk while also stepping into the clinical space when needed.

What You’ll Do

Client Service (Primary Role)

  • Greet clients and create a welcoming, professional environment
  • Answer phones and manage scheduling
  • Confirm appointments and handle follow-up calls
  • Explain services, fees, and process payments
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Support a smooth and efficient front desk workflow

Veterinary Assistant Support (Secondary Role)

  • Assist with patient handling and basic care
  • Obtain history on sick/well patients
  • Administer injections
  • Blood draws
  • Help maintain hospital cleanliness and organization
  • Reinforce client education during visits

  • Veterinary assistant experience required
