Located in the vibrant Polk Gulch neighborhood, our modern, state-of-the-art hospital has proudly served the community for five years and continues to help meet the increasing demand for high-quality veterinary care.

As a Client Service Representative, you’ll be one of the first people clients speak with and one of the last they see before leaving. You’ll help set the tone for every visit by creating a welcoming, organized, and compassionate experience for pets and the people who love them.

This position also offers meaningful opportunities for professional growth. As you develop your skills, you may have the chance to lead initiatives, support team development, help shape client service standards, and advance into a supervisory role.

  • Work in a modern, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital
  • Join a growing practice serving San Francisco’s Polk Gulch community
  • Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients and their pets

The Extras You'll Actually Feel

At Polk Street Animal Hospital, Client Service Representatives are essential members of the care team. You won’t simply answer phones or process payments—you’ll help clients understand what comes next, keep communication moving between families and the medical team, and create a calmer experience during moments that may feel stressful or uncertain.

You’ll also have the opportunity to grow beyond the day-to-day responsibilities of the front desk. Team members who demonstrate initiative, reliability, and strong leadership skills may have opportunities to lead projects, support training, help refine client service processes, and advance into supervisory positions.

Our four-day workweek provides consistency and more time away from the hospital, while our location puts you in the heart of one of San Francisco’s most energetic neighborhoods.
