Client Service Representative
Muddy Creek Animal Hospital — West River, MD
Pay: beginning at $17/hr
Let’s be real—CSR work in veterinary medicine is not for the faint of heart.
It takes someone who can juggle phones, appointments, emotions, and the occasional chaos…all while making clients feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.
If that sounds like your kind of challenge, keep reading.
Who We Are
Muddy Creek Animal Hospital has been a trusted part of the West River community since 1988, caring for pets (and their people) across Shady Side, Deale, Churchton, and beyond. We’re proud to be one of the few AAHA-accredited hospitals in the area, offering a full spectrum of care—from preventive medicine to surgery to integrative therapies like acupuncture and laser treatment.
Our medicine is high-quality, but what really sets us apart is how we treat people. Clients trust us. Our team supports each other. And yes—our reviews back that up.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’re the first impression. The tone-setter. The one who can turn a stressful vet visit into something a little more manageable.
On any given day, you’ll:
Handle phones, scheduling, and front desk flow like a pro
Welcome clients and patients with warmth (even on the busy days)
Keep things organized, accurate, and moving forward
Support your team and jump in wherever needed
Stay calm, kind, and solutions-focused—even when things get hectic
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to know everything—but you do need the right mindset.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has 1–2 years of front desk experience (veterinary or medical preferred)
Communicates clearly, kindly, and confidently
Thrives in a fast-paced environment without losing their cool
Is organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Shows up as a true team player—every day
