Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team.

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.
In this position you will be supporting our Doctor and Technician teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets.

  • Must be able to work 30-40 hours per week
  • Must be able to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts (weekends not required)
  • Must be comfortable communicating via technology (email, text, smart phone apps, etc.)
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have at least 1 year reception or relevant customer service experience, veterinary Client Service Preferred
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting visitors and making them feel welcome and comfortable
  • Effectively communicate with current and prospective clients
  • Effectively communicate with doctors and fellow teammates
  • Work closely with teammates to ensure a low stress and compassionate environment
  • Working closely with clients to promote long lasting and trusting relationships
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
  • Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control)
  • Accurately maintain medical records, reports
  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside

Compensation: $19+ (depending upon experience)
