Your opportunity

This is an opportunity to work within a purpose-driven organisation committed to supporting vulnerable members of the community through integrated housing and support services.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting people through daily living activities, case management, community engagement, and transition planning in a safe and supportive environment.

This vital role will be supporting people experiencing homelessness by delivering high quality customer service, assisting with housing allocations, responding to enquiries and liaising with both internal and external teams

We are currently recruiting one perm and one max term role which will be a one year contract.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Deliver high quality customer service either face to face or over the phone
  • Assist clients with housing applications and assessments
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and client documentation
  • Assist with housing allocations and application processes
  • Liaise with internal teams and external support agencies
  • Respond to enquiries professionally, sensitively and effectively
  • Contribute to effective operation and continuous improvement of the services
  • Build positive and sustainable relationships with clients, colleagues and internal and external stakeholders

Requirements for success

  • Experience working in the social service, community or housing sector
  • Experience in customer service and working with complex clients
  • Knowledge of housing pathways or crisis accommodation
  • Highly organised with strong administrative skills and attention to details
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse social background
  • Resilience and ability to work with complex environments

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks and WWCC.
