This job is responsible for leading analytical work efforts for projects within the consumer and small business product space. Key responsibilities include leveraging databases to acquire client, product, and performance data; transforming data into meaningful insights and trends; and delivering recommendations that support business and product decisions. Job expectations include partnering with marketing, product, and technology teams to translate questions into analytical approaches, define and monitor key performance indicators, evaluate product adoption and outcomes, and communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Sources, integrates, and transforms data across relational and non-relational platforms using SQL, Python, Spark/Scala, SAS, and other analytical tools to create meaningful measures, insights, and reusable analytical outputs.
• Translates business and product questions into analytical frameworks and applies quantitative, segmentation, behavioral, and test-and-learn techniques to develop actionable recommendations.
• Evaluates product performance and customer journeys by defining and monitoring metrics related to adoption, usage, engagement, retention, attrition, customer outcomes, and business impact.
• Partners across product, marketing, technology, data product management, governance, and business teams to clarify requirements, align priorities, support data product adoption, and deliver agreed outcomes.
• Communicates complex analytical findings to technical, non-technical, and senior audiences through clear data storytelling, visualizations, and actionable recommendations using tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Tableau.
• Validates data and analytical outputs, resolves or escalates inconsistencies, and follows documentation, control, governance, and business-continuity requirements to support trusted data and consistent metrics.
• Leads complex analytical initiatives, manages competing priorities to achieve outcomes, and supports the development of people and team capabilities.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to source, integrate, transform, and validate data from multiple systems of record using modern data tools and techniques.
• Experience in product analytics, customer analytics, marketing analytics, portfolio analytics, or business performance analytics.
• Experience evaluating product performance, customer engagement, customer journeys, and business outcomes, including adoption, usage, retention, and attrition.
• Ability to define and track key performance indicators, develop practical measurement frameworks, and assess business impact.
• Working knowledge of advanced analytical techniques, including segmentation, behavioral analytics, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and test-and-learn methods.
• Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders with varying levels of analytical fluency.
• Understanding of Consumer and Business Payments ecosystems and Merchant Acquiring solutions.
• Fluency in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, SAS-Grid, and Starburst.
• Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, and ThoughtSpot.
• Ability to use AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot Chat and GitHub Copilot to accelerate analysis, insight development, and operational efficiency while following applicable controls and standards.
• Ability to collaborate across product, marketing, technology, data, and governance teams to align on requirements, milestones, and shared outcomes.
• Ability to adapt quickly, learn new technologies, and apply emerging analytical techniques appropriately.

Minimum Education Requirement

Minimum of bachelor’s degree with strong quantitative background in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$135,000.00 - $163,300.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
