If you can open doors at CxO level, turn market intelligence into a pipeline, and carry an opportunity all the way from first conversation to signed statement of work, esynergy wants you growing our private sector business.

We're growing our team and looking for a Client Principal who will drive new business and deliver exceptional value to insurance clients, acting as an expert in the sector. This is a new-business-first sales role: you will generate and qualify your own pipeline across the insurance market, act as a trusted strategic advisor once you're in the room, and stay accountable for the deal through pre-sales, commercial negotiation and into a clean handover to delivery.

Responsibilities: 🌟

• Drive £5M+ in annual consulting revenue through new business in insurance.
• Turn market intelligence — from underwriting, claims, distribution and regulatory change — into growth strategies, campaigns and account plays, and apply strong qualification skills to focus on the insurance clients and opportunities that best match esynergy's offerings.
• Act as a strategic advisor to CxO-level clients across carriers, brokers, MGAs and reinsurers, aligning esynergy's propositions to their business and technology outcomes.
• Manage pre-sales engagements alongside lead associates, customers and partners, building and delivering statements of work and negotiating commercials and financials with internal and customer teams.

Requirements: ✔️

• Proven track record of winning net new business in the cloud consulting landscape within insurance, selling deals over £1m in value.
• Understanding of the insurance value chain — underwriting, claims, distribution and reinsurance — and how commercial drivers like loss ratios, combined ratio and renewal cycles shape when and why insurers invest in technology.
• Strong track record of consultative selling into carriers, brokers, MGAs or reinsurers, or other regulated financial services environments.
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and build long-term strategic relationships
• Commercial acumen across bid writing, pitches, proposals, workshops, and negotiating commercials and financials.
• Working knowledge of the pressures shaping the insurance market today — legacy platform modernisation, claims and underwriting transformation, data and AI adoption, and regulatory change such as Consumer Duty and Solvency UK.
