Purpose of the Job

Join Ocorian's Global Client Screening Team and play a key role in protecting the business and its clients through effective client screening and risk assessment. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in AML, sanctions and client due diligence processes while working with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions. You'll contribute to the identification and escalation of potential financial crime risks, provide valuable insights through management information and support the ongoing enhancement of global screening processes. The role offers strong exposure to international stakeholders and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and evolving compliance environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct client screening activities and review alerts generated through ongoing monitoring systems in line with group policies and procedures.
• Analyse client information against sanctions lists, PEP databases, watchlists and other relevant sources to identify potential risks.
• Assess, investigate and accurately document screening results, ensuring clear and well-supported outcomes.
• Escalate potential risks and high-risk findings to relevant stakeholders, supporting timely and informed decision-making.
• Produce and analyse management information, providing meaningful insights into screening activity and emerging risk trends.
• Build strong relationships with regional and local teams to promote consistency, collaboration and effective resolution of screening matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiency, contributing to the continuous development of the screening framework.
• Support system enhancements, testing activities and strategic projects that strengthen the global client screening function.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Experience within a regulated financial services environment, with a strong understanding of AML, KYC and financial crime risks.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to assess complex information, identify risk indicators and make sound judgements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present findings and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing demands and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Proactive and accountable, with a solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams; experience with client screening or compliance systems would be advantageous.
