
Duties: Developing, managing, and monitoring client relationships, and maintaining a continuous dialogue with public and private clients at C-suite and Treasurer levels. Provide advice and drive the delivery of creative corporate finance solutions to clients for mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategic capital raising initiatives, including restructurings, spin-offs, equity, and debt issuance. Functioning as deal team leader and executing multiple mandates at any given time, and overseeing workflows in all stages of transaction executions, from the pitch phase to closing, ensuring timeliness of deliverables by managing clients, other external stakeholders, and internal cross functional teams. Supervise, manage, guide and quality control deliverables prepared by junior team members such as financial modeling, analytics, and marketing work, including but not limited to discounted cash flow, merger, accretion and dilution, re-capitalization, leveraged buyout, comparable company, comparable transaction, sum-of-part analyses, offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, and SEC legal documents like S-1s and F-1s. Drive complex cross-border deals, coordinating with teams across the U.S., Asia, and Europe. Conduct strategy planning exercises to review client portfolios, establishing subject matter expertise in sectors such as Semiconductors and Software, and generating unique and differentiated pitch ideas that are value enhancing for clients. Supporting the team and Firm-wide initiatives, including training and development of analysts and associates and recruiting and retaining top talent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any field), finance, economics, or a related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Client Management, Investment Banking, Vice President, Associate, Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires six (6) years of experience with the following: working on and executing live transactions for companies in the Technology industry; Working with clients in Technology to provide investment banking services across multiple sub-sectors; financial modeling including Discounted Cash Flow analysis (DCF), Leveraged Buyout analysis (LBO), precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis; Focusing on large corporate clients and providing investment banking services, capital markets products and securities products for consolidation; cross-border M&A experience, including international regulatory and financial considerations; Working directly with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders for client interfacing; guiding project teams; Utilizing Bloomberg for Market research, Factset and other financial research tools including Bamsec and Mergermarket. This position requires the following licenses: Series 79TO and Series 63.
Job Location: 560 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105. This position requires up to 30% domestic travel for client meetings.
Full-Time. Salary: $285,000 - $285,000 per year.
