Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Client Development Manager to join moomoo’s premium client sales team in our Sydney office.

This is a sales-oriented role focused on identifying, engaging and converting high-value client opportunities. You will be responsible for proactively developing new client relationships, progressing prospects through the sales pipeline, and driving client acquisition, asset growth and revenue contribution.

In addition to developing new business, you will build strong relationships with high-value clients, identify opportunities within the existing client base, and work closely with internal teams to deliver a strong client experience.

The role will also involve participating in client events and industry activities across Australia, with occasional interstate travel required.

Client Acquisition & Sales

• Proactively identify and develop new client opportunities, with a particular focus on high-net-worth and high-value investors.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients through outbound engagement, referrals, events, internal leads and other acquisition channels.
• Engage prospective clients to understand their investment and trading needs, identify relevant opportunities, and convert qualified prospects into active clients.
• Take ownership of the full client acquisition process, from initial outreach and qualification through to follow-up, conversion and closing.
• Consistently follow up with prospective clients and actively progress opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Achieve agreed KPIs across client acquisition, asset growth, revenue contribution and other key business outcomes.

Client Development & Growth

• Identify growth opportunities within the existing client base, including opportunities to deepen client engagement, increase assets and expand product adoption.
• Develop a strong understanding of clients’ investment and trading behaviours and identify opportunities to increase their engagement with the moomoo platform.
• Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients through regular and proactive communication.
• Develop tailored engagement approaches for different client segments based on their needs, behaviours and potential value.
• Support the retention and long-term development of high-value client relationships.

Client Engagement & Events

• Represent moomoo at client events, seminars, workshops and relevant industry activities.
• Proactively engage prospective and existing clients during events and convert event interactions into follow-up opportunities.
• Work closely with the broader team to support client acquisition and engagement initiatives.
• Be willing and able to travel interstate when required for client meetings, events and business activities.

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, operations, product, trading and other internal teams to support client acquisition and conversion.
• Share client insights, market feedback and common client needs with relevant internal teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, opportunities and sales pipeline progress.
• Contribute ideas to improve client acquisition, conversion and engagement processes.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably in Business, Commerce, or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development or client acquisition within financial services, preferably in brokerage, wealth management, asset management, financial planning or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively develop new business, build a sales pipeline and convert prospective clients.
• Strong sales mindset with the confidence and persistence to initiate client conversations, follow up opportunities and drive outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
• Commercially minded and results-oriented, with a strong focus on client acquisition, asset growth and revenue contribution.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, focused on client satisfaction and business outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage high-net-worth clients and professionals effectively.
• Experience with share investing or superannuation is a plus.
• RG146 qualification to provide general advice
