Your opportunity:

We’re looking for a Client Development Manager (CDM) to join our Group team at AIA. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving revenue growth, improving premium flow, and enhancing profitability for AIA’s corporate insurance business. You’ll achieve this by building strong Partner relationships and leading strategic initiatives that deliver sustainable improvements to benefit designs across our portfolio.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Help define and execute strategies for partners within your portfolio, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders to meet profitability and retention goals.

  • Work closely with a dedicated panel of superannuation partners to identify opportunities for benefit design enhancements that improve sustainability and drive premium growth.

  • Recommend and support the implementation of process, product, and service improvements within the corporate portfolio.

  • Deliver exceptional service and relationship management by promoting AIA’s corporate proposition, including AIA Vitality and wellbeing programs, to employers and their workforce.

  • Lead all scheme renewal activities, showcasing the value of AIA’s proposition and presenting renewal strategies effectively.

  • Proactively manage day-to-day relationships with your Partners to strengthen engagement and trust.

  • Collaborate daily with the operations team, representing the Partner perspective and ensuring commitments are met.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in the life insurance or superannuation industry.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of life insurance drivers and relevant legislation.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Solid commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.

  • Ability to network effectively and represent AIA externally with confidence.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
