About the Role

The Assistant Manager, client data quality and operations is responsible for ensuring end-to-end client data governance, operational execution, and compliance across SEAA markets. Operating at the intersection of business, data governance, privacy, and technology, the role combines hands-on data operations (match & merge, tickets, change requests) with regional coordination and escalation responsibilities, ensuring alignment to Global and Asia data standards while supporting business continuity. The role is also monitoring database health and quality to improve the depth and reach of SEAA client activation strategies.

1. Data Quality & Operations

  • Execute match & merge of duplicate client accounts and manage potential match reviews

  • Perform client data corrections and Data Subject Deletion Requests (DSDR) with full auditability

  • Handle OneTrust tickets and end-to-end data management requests

  • Monitor and improve data quality metrics including duplicate reduction and accuracy

2. Data Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to Global, Asia and local data governance policies, and standards

  • Act as escalation point for data quality issues, match exceptions and privacy risks

  • Maintain governance documentation, audit trails and compliance reporting

  • Stay updated on evolving data privacy requirements across SEAA markets

3. Regional Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate global and regional initiatives including UAT, issue tracking and hypercare

  • Act as liaison between business users, markets, and technical teams

  • Support and animate the regional and local data steward community

  • Represent SEAA in APAC data governance forums and working groups

4. Change & Release Management

  • Manage change requests including requirement clarification, documentation and prioritisation

  • Ensure alignment with global standards and prevent inconsistent local implementations

  • Support release coordination including deployment readiness and post-release monitoring

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop dashboards to track performance and workload

  • Define and monitor data quality KPIs and operational metrics

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data processes, tools and efficiency

6. Pioneer Project BAU Stabilization - Fragrance & Beauty Products (FBP) Specific

  • Manage regional FBP backlog for October release till end of 2026 and transit to BAU model

  • One trust, handling all the tickets on data management

  • Change request handling

  • Dashboard tracking

  • Coordination of global release with markets includes global and regional initiatives (with activities such as UAT testing, hypercare after the delivery phase)

7. Database health and monitoring

  • Engage markets and divisions on the critical importance of registration and opt in and track at POS level

  • Monitor database health and channels validity to optimize reach of 1-many campaigns through report creation

  • Drive regional implementation projects in collaboration with divisions (ex: reseller flag visibility)

What you will bring

Experience

  • Experience in data management, CRM, or digital and data projects.

  • Exposure to regional or multi-market environments preferred.

  • Familiarity with data governance practices and tools.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of data structures, data quality principles, and governance frameworks.

  • Experience with dashboards and reporting tools.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and data management platforms (e.g., One Trust or equivalent).
