Client Care Assistant (part-time) £12.81 p/h

We are looking for a friendly Client Care Assistant to join our reception team in our locally owned small animal veterinary practice inside Pets at Home, Shrewsbury. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with people, loves animals and is interested in working within a veterinary environment. Experience in veterinary or reception roles is ideal, but for the right individual is not necessary.
The role
In this front-of-house role, you will be based on the reception desk greeting clients and their pets, answering the phone, booking appointments, cleaning, tidying and completing other general and administrative tasks. The overall aim of your role is to help clients and their pets have a positive experience by working together as a team to create a welcoming, positive and friendly atmosphere, while thinking on your feet, being adaptive, flexible and working well as a team to help the practice run smoothly.
You will be working a variety of shifts, totalling around 25 hours in the week including some 8.30am starts and 7pm finishes, plus one in three Saturday mornings. There will also be opportunities to work additional shifts covering holidays and team absence.
