Location: Elstree, Hertfordshire
Employment Type: Full-time, office-based
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch
Salary: £25,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, organised and client-focused Client Administrator to join a professional financial services environment.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and client support to Financial Advisers, helping to ensure a smooth and professional experience for both existing and prospective clients.
This is a varied role combining administration, client communication and basic paraplanning support. Previous financial services experience would be advantageous, but is not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Client Support
- Prepare documentation and meeting packs for client meetings.
- Process new business, client onboarding and ongoing administration.
- Liaise with product providers regarding investments, pensions and protection policies.
- Monitor and progress client cases from submission through to completion.
- Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems.
Client Communication
- Make outbound calls to clients to arrange Annual Review Meetings.
- Contact clients to obtain outstanding information and documentation.
- Follow up with prospective clients where appropriate.
- Handle client enquiries professionally and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage adviser diaries and appointment scheduling.
Basic Paraplanning
- Prepare Annual Review and Fund Switch reports.
- Assist with new investment and pension cases, including regular contributions and lump-sum investments.
Compliance & Team Support
- Ensure work is completed in line with relevant regulatory and company standards.
- Support compliance and Consumer Duty requirements.
- Assist colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support the training of new team members.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Desirable, but not essential:
- Previous experience within Financial Services or Wealth Management.
- Knowledge of pensions, investments or financial services regulations.
- Experience working with financial services CRM or administration platforms.
